CryBuster is a singelplayer mod for FPS Crysis

In accordance to the Freudian theory (model of the mind) our subconscious consists of three instances: the ego, the superego and the id.
The ego is specified through the influences of our environment - laws, rules, norms, etc. - while the superego brings individual moralities and an attitude in all of our thinking processes.
In contrast to them the id represents our innermost urges, subliminal instincts and all of our secret wishes and aspirations - briefly: it constitutes our animal aspects without regard to law or moral.

Anyway, in our world are two primary types of snoeys.
On the one hand are those which surround us all and manipulate our environment always, be it as supernaturally apparitions (e.g. poltergeists), harmless natural phenomena like rainbows or as events bristling with destructiveness (e.g. ball lightnings out of the blue, huge tidal waves coming from nowhere).
Despite their great power over the environment they are not able to affect our character directly.
On the other hand are snoeys who strive for control over those part of our subconscious which is not influenced by our experience. Often a minimal change in our secret needs is enough to cause essential modifications.
There are uncountable examples for this and the number increases daily: May it be an inconspicuous housemate who turns into a blood-thirsty killer overnight, or an ordinary citizen who sells his entire property and takes to the bottle.

At each point in our history have been several people who knew of the snoeys (for the other people this are simply ghosts, aliens and so on) and their influences and powers. They searched for ways and means in order to minimize these ascendancies and to shield and protect the general public from the knowledge about these beings.
But a few insiders misused their knowledge to abandon themselves to those mighty snoeys (demons or devils as they have been called in other eras, or in the last few years simply: aliens). In exchange they receive control over lower snoeys which opens those undreamt-of possibilities and strength.
But in the majority of cases they don't know that if they sacrifice their soul - the essence of their existence - to such a snoey, they give him not only control over the id but over their whole thoughts and feelings.
In this condition he has the ability to affect the "real" world, a power which to acquire might be the greatest wish of every snoey.
Once the soul is "sold", it is rarely possible to rescue such a person and those who received such a salvation, scrape their living isolated from the rest of the world in a mental hospital.

The ancestry of these creatures, called snoey, can have different origins. The one descent, mentioned by the lay: Alien, actually comes from deep space. The other descents are simple organic natures, whose souls were manifested. They are called of most simply as ghosts, phantoms or also monsters. The basic element of snoeys is organic origin, which is supplemented quite often by the manifested soul. In addition, the soul gleams easily but also transparent. Best to compare with the consistency of water, however the soul is neither damp nor noticeable. There are also exceptions, with which the soul is only inside the body and only the organic part is visible (like some „aliens“ or „monsters "). Or it’s the opposite and someone can only see the soul, how it’s usual with supernatural beings.

Now then, there are not much persons who believe in supernatural phenomena and still less who analyze them. By our modern age of new media, messages about those "miracles" accumulate yet over a fairly long time. And so it happened that in the year of 2018 a team of young parapsychologists and ex-bounty hunters grouped to get to the bottom of those things.
This was the year of founding of the CryBusters, consisting of James Carrington (the oldest one oft them and official leader), Markus Ephrem (engineer) and Lucas Orrway (odd-job man).
They always led a life on the verge of ruin which changed sharply with a massive appearance of snoey manipulations in various parts of the globe. They saved Moscow, Amsterdam and Paris from a pandemonium in form of a horde of stormspirits and they protected the Airforce One along with the president of the United States of America from hijacking precipitated by „extraterrestrials".
The following promotion opened absolutely new ways to the CryBusters: The "CryBusters National- Ghost- Security" was established in 2020. Their headquarter,Reaktor2018_ngs, finds itself in a geostationary orbit in order to reach the single operational areas all over the world more quickly.
After the initial successes it seemed as the snoeys had a little rest so that the everywhere celebrated "cry busters" faded into obscurity.

The Spectral section, one of the Occultist Dr. psych. Edward Alexander Yelworc created secret department of the US-Army, researches for quite some time how to use and control snoeys in such a manner, so that they nevertheless cause the desired improvements of mental and physical abilities without negative side effects. With the final goal to create a perfect soldier apart from lengthy and risky gene manipulation. Briefly before a crucial break-through, with one of the last experiments of a final test row, however everything turned out from the joints: Dr. Ife José, deputy project chief and wife Dr. Yelworcs, who made itself available for this innovative attempt, offered too much of her soul and thus made a powerful being possible to completely take control of her body.

If a snoey is permitted to break out from subconscious into our conscious world penetrate to thus manifest then leans it to its guest body like also its environment - which it can affect direct now - to change after certain own conceptions. So also in this case: Glacorca, mentioned by well-informed ones „ice princess ", „ice fairy „or also „the cold beauty of the ice “, because she has numerous appropriate ice natures subordinate, projected her image on the body of the scientist.

Further it changed also parts of the secret research basis, positioned in a mountain area in the near to San Angelo in Texas, as well as parts of the reservoir, which she chose to be her first territory had, with snow and/or ice-similar substance, which don’t passes cold.

But they didn't know that at that moment. There is a little out take of the Reaktor protocol following after the text. Every mission get logged by the intern Communicationssytem to debilitate any accusations against the CryBusters.
